About DRP
Built around the person. Not the system.
Disability Resource Partners exists because disability systems rarely talk to each other. DRP builds practical connections across them for the people who have to live with the results.
What DRP is
Disability Resource Partners LLC is a privately owned Texas business. It is not a government agency and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government program.
DRP started inside the same systems it now works to connect: the calls, the plans, the appeals, the waiting. That lived experience of navigating fragmented disability systems is the reason DRP is organized around the person rather than the agency that happens to own the paperwork.
Who DRP serves
Individuals navigating their own services, families and caregivers holding years of records together, and the professionals who work alongside them: clinicians, educators, case managers, advocates, and organizations. Different starting points, one shared problem: the systems do not connect.
Why a connected approach matters
The hardest part of disability services is often not that help does not exist. It is that every system holds one piece of the person, and no one is responsible for the whole. Information gets lost between agencies, evidence scatters across thousands of pages, and families are expected to be the connective tissue. DRP treats that disconnection itself as the problem to solve.
The practical approach
- UnderstandMake sense of what the plans, notices, and records actually say, and what they leave out.
- DocumentRecord what matters in a structured way, so meaningful change and unanswered questions are visible.
- ConnectLink what one system knows to what another system needs, instead of leaving families to carry it alone.
- ActTurn understanding into informed, practical steps: the next question, the next request, the next follow-up.
The stories behind DRP
“I didn’t build DRP because disability systems needed another directory. I built it because people needed a way through.”
DRP provides navigation, review, documentation, and advocacy-support services and tools. It does not provide legal advice, legal representation, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
